i can not say enough how much i love lifestyle sessions in the home.  which is exactly why i love lifestyle newborn sessions.  they are so soft and beautiful and real.  i love when mommas trust me to make beautiful images and when they don't pressure for all the props and poses. 
this session was perfect.  first of all this momma is the queen of coordinated, put-together, anthopologieness (probably not a word) and her home and wardrobe belong in a magazine.  couple that with a gentle new daddy and TWO beautiful baby girls... ya, the result is... well... see for yourself.

so i just realized that i blogged this beautiful family over on 'red thread sessions' but not on my own blog!  so let's get right down to business.

the sims have a big heart for adoption and became a family of five when
"In April 2013 we welcomed our son Bolton Judah Sims into our family. However as we look back we know that the Lord knew well before then that Bolton would be our son and we are amazed at how He has woven this tapestry that is our family."

it is such a pleasure to see the work of God in this family.  they love with grace and patience and it was a beautiful thing to witness.  thanks again for allowing me to photograph such a special time in your lives.  it was an honor.

so i just realized i never blogged this session.  and it's *so* worth blogging.  i love this family.  there is a beauty and peace that comes with a second baby.  momma is comfortable in her role.  daddy is well versed on poop-splosions and runny noses.  it's amazing how life just scoots over a tad and lets a new little love into the mix.
